Cellulose Ethers

Cellulose ethers are high-molecular-weight compounds derived from the organic compound Cellulose (CAS# 9004-34-6).  There is a broad range of cellulose ethers available including Carboxymethyl Cellulose, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Hydroxypropyl Cellulose, Ethyl Cellulose and Methyl Cellulose to name a few.

Cellulose ethers are used in a wide range of industries including food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, personal care, adhesives, oil recovery, agriculture, textiles, paper, paint, printing, ceramics, textiles and building materials.
